ENTERPRISE AI. DATA PLATFORMS. LEADERSHIP.

From data
to enterprise AI.

Hi, I’m Sharan Senthilvasan.

My work connects enterprise AI with the engineering it depends on: trusted data, usable platforms, and teams that can bring both into practice.

A few ways into my work.

My path to
enterprise AI.

The industry changed. The importance of trusted data stayed with me.

My career has taken me through financial-services technology at Oracle, audience measurement at Nielsen, and healthcare technology at ModMed. Each chapter has brought different problems and a deeper appreciation for the engineering behind a reliable answer.

At Nielsen, that work included becoming a named co-inventor on patented methods for resolving conflicts in automated content recognition data.

Today, as Director of Data Platform Engineering at ModMed, I connect enterprise data strategy with cloud modernization, governance, analytics, and AI enablement. My focus is on the data foundations and engineering teams that help AI become useful in practice.

PATENTED WORK / NIELSEN

Data quality before
the measurement.

Methods, articles of manufacture, and apparatus to edit tuning data collected via automated content recognition

The problem

Viewing-event data can contain overlapping or conflicting intervals. Those conflicts need to be resolved before the data is used to credit media viewing.

The patented approach

The methods describe identifying conflicts, creating or modifying tuning events according to defined criteria, and crediting media using the edited data.

My attribution

I am one of nine named co-inventors. The two granted U.S. patents belong to the same invention family, assigned to Nielsen.
